Prime Minister Narendra Modi has emphasized the need for the strictest punishment for those involved, expressing that the 13 individuals arrested should be subjected to swift justice through fast-track courts. Modi underscored the importance of not sparing those who jeopardize students’ futures, thereby reinforcing the government’s commitment to maintaining the integrity of educational assessments.
In response to the ongoing protests over the NEET paper leak, the government has shown willingness to engage in dialogue. Union ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh have extended invitations to protesters for discussions at their official offices or residences, signaling openness to address the concerns raised by the aggrieved parties.
Protesters, however, remain steadfast in their demands for accountability in the wake of the exam controversy. They are calling for the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and have announced plans for nationwide peaceful demonstrations. This movement reflects the frustration and demand for transparency and accountability within the educational system.
