PM Modi Celebrates 25 Years in Public Service, Envisions Developed India by 2047

Prime Minister Narendra Modi commemorated 25 years of continuous public service on Wednesday with a heartfelt address at the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha’ in New Delhi. Reflecting on his political journey, Modi expressed gratitude towards the citizens and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers who supported him throughout his career. He also reiterated his ambitious vision for India’s development, aiming for the nation to become a fully developed country by 2047.

Modi’s political career began on October 7, 2001, when he took office as the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Looking back on this milestone, he acknowledged that he never anticipated reaching such heights and credited the trust and support from the people as his main strengths. He emphasized that both supporters and critics have significantly shaped his journey, with critics teaching him resilience and introspection.

During his speech, the Prime Minister underscored the importance of collective efforts to achieve the goal of a developed India. He highlighted self-reliance as a crucial component of this vision and expressed confidence in India’s potential to become one of the world’s top three economies. Modi asserted that the country’s success hinges on the combined contributions of its citizens.

The Prime Minister further expressed his appreciation for the people, stating, “For me, people are God,” and acknowledged the dedication of party workers and others who have supported him. He highlighted the significance of serving humanity and called for unified efforts to propel the country forward.

Modi also shared insights into his personal growth, expressing a continued desire to learn. He reminisced about his school days in Vadnagar, noting that his eagerness to learn has persisted throughout his public career. “Even today, I consider myself a student,” he remarked, underscoring his commitment to personal development.

Highlighting India’s advancements in aviation, Modi referenced the valor of Indian pilot Smit Machchhar during a recent incident involving a flydubai flight. He expressed optimism that India would eventually manufacture its own aircraft, showcasing the nation’s growing capabilities. Concluding his address, Modi called for ongoing collective efforts to realize India’s developmental aspirations and achieve a stronger, self-reliant nation by 2047.
